These rates apply when only children are fishing. Children’s trips are aimed at quantities of fish over quality and consider kids’ limited attention spans, limited manual dexterity, and their need for instant gratification. Non-fishing adult chaperones are always welcome.

HYBRID STRIPED BASS FISHING TRIPS

FOR 3 ANGLERS (MORE MAY BE ADDED)
Hybrid striped bass fishing trips specifically target this species using live shad. These trips are appropriate for those desiring to catch larger, but fewer fish, and who don’t mind waiting for longer periods between bites. Kids under 12 generally do not do well on such trips. The costs on such trips are greater due to the time and expense involved in netting the live shad used as bait. All hybrid trips are conducted on Belton Lake mid-April to late May only.

MULTI-SPECIES FISHING TRIP RATES START AT $295

Multi-species trips are best for anglers who like a lot of action, for those who like to use artificial baits or want to learn to use them, for novice anglers, and whenever mixed groups of adults and youth will be fishing. We use mainly artificial baits for white bass, hybrid stripers, & largemouth bass. Expect to move from area to area frequently in a constant search for active fish. This is our most popular fishing package.
PAYMENT - Your balance will be due on the day of your trip. Cash or Venmo is always preferred. Sorry, no checks are accepted from first-time customers. If you intend to pay your balance via a credit card, this transaction must be finalized before the day of the trip and will be transacted via PayPal or Venmo. I cannot accept PayPal or credit cards "at the dock" due to typically poor connectivity.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellations made 14 days or more before your scheduled trip date, you may transfer your deposit in full by booking another available date within 60 days of the originally booked date, or you may elect to recoup 80% of your deposit; the remaining 20% of the deposit will be forfeited. Sorry, no exceptions.
For cancellations made less than 14 days before your arrival, you will forfeit your entire deposit. Sorry, no exceptions.
Weather cancellations will be made at the guide's discretion. We fish year 'round in extreme heat and cold, and in the rain (in fact foul weather often makes for very good fishing). We will not fish when high winds (over 23 mph), electrical storms, or frozen precipitation are threatening. Trips canceled on account of weather at the guide's discretion may either be rebooked or have the full deposit refunded, at the client's option.
ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY DISCOUNT: A military discount of $30.00 per trip is available upon request to all Active Duty enlisted personnel and non-commissioned officers E-5 and below. Holding the Line Guide Service is a veteran-owned small business (West Point Class of 1991, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 1991-1999). I provide a $30.00 per trip (not per person) discount on any trip attended by the above listed personnel. This discount may not be combined with any other discounts, and does not apply to Children's Fishing Trips, Sonar Training Sessions, nor gift certificates.
JUNIOR ANGLER DISCOUNT: A discount of $20.00 per trip is available upon request for the first angler under the age of 13. This discount may not be combined with any other discounts and does not apply to Children’s Fishing Trips, Sonar Training Sessions, nor gift certificates.
SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT: A discount of $20.00 per trip is available upon request for the first angler aged 70 or older. This discount may not be combined with any other discounts and does not apply to Children’s Fishing Trips, Sonar Training Sessions nor gift certificates.
GIFT CERTIFICATES: Gift certificates are available year 'round and may be delivered to you electronically or in hardcopy. Discounts may not be applied to gift certificate purchases. No credit, change or refunds will be given for gift certificates. Gift certificates are good for 1 year from date of purchase. After 1 year, certificate holders must pay any difference in price based on rates in effect following the expiration date.
DEPOSITS: A $100 deposit is requested on all half-day trips and a $200 deposit is requested on all full-day trips. This is your earnest money letting me know you will show up at the time agreed upon, and that I can take your date off the market. Deposits may be made using PayPal or Venmo (either with a credit card or with your account, if you have one) after we coordinate a trip date and time by phone, text, or e-mail.
